Looks like we got about 24" in total by the end of the day. Tootsie had the right idea, though she got a bit bored as her customary view became increasingly blocked.
This morning when the temperature got up to 15F I ran out and shoveled around the edge of the deck. No way the path to the front door will be freed since Bob created a 5' snow mound in front of the path facing the driveway with his plow. I also waded out and filled the bird feeder and quickly attracted a red cardinal and two juncos.
We are all a bit preoccupied getting all of this cleared out since they are predicting up to 20 more inches starting Tuesday night. That will beat the all time snowfall record of the winter of '96 (remember ABJ?).
